Meet Dr. Sakellis
Dr. Irene Sakellis is a compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals and families. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and has spent the past eight years helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized treatment and a gentle approach.
A lifelong member of the upstate community, Dr. Sakellis graduated from Riverside High School before earning her undergraduate degree from Wofford College. She is proud to return to the community that helped shape her and is passionate about serving her neighbors through exceptional dental care.
Dr. Sakellis enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and believes that building trusting relationships with her patients is the foundation of excellent care. She strives to create a welcoming, comfortable environment where patients feel informed, respected, and at ease.
As a mother of two, Sophia and Mina, Dr. Sakellis brings patience, empathy, and a nurturing perspective to our practice. She understands the importance of helping patients feel comfortable and takes pride in treating every patient like family.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sakellis enjoys spending time with her husband, George, and their children. She also helps George with Pastavino, their family-owned Italian restaurant, where she enjoys being involved in the restaurant’s growth and connecting with the local community.
Dr. Sakellis is thrilled to be part of the team at Poinsett Dental Associates and looks forward to providing exceptional dental care to the families of Greer and the surrounding Upstate communities.
